Seven new products this month in scales 1:160 and 1:87!
But first:
We are going to organize another Markenburg summer promotion this year!
Here, in the news articles, we will make a separate message that fully deals with this summer promotion. So if you want to know more go to: Markenburg summer promo 2020
About the seven new articles this month, we have extensions in the theme: Around the platform, with so-called CTAs and extensions in the theme: Interiors, with benches and ticket booths.
The benches and ticket booths are intended for inside the station buildings, and more specifically the station buildings of a somewhat older age. After all, the original construction period of the benches and ticket booths dates from around 1900 to 1940. When ordering a set of benches, booth or a combination of both, the color of the "wood" can also be set. Options are light brown and dark brown, as both colors were common.
More information about the products can of course be found on the product pages:
- Theme: Interiors> Triple ticket booth
- Theme: Interiors> Single booth with one-sided bench
- Theme: Interiors> Unilateral wooden benches
- Theme: Interiors> Two-sided wooden benches
The CTA's, an abbreviation that stands for Central Train Indicators, occur mainly in the more modern times. The type of CTA's that serve as an example for the Markenburg models were placed on the 1:1 platforms around 1980. Around 2010 the boxes with mechanical text rolls were replaced for TFT screens. Although we have not succeeded in copying the flapping text scrolls to scale, it is possible to enter a track number and final destination at our own discretion when ordering the CTA's. Even a track number like; 1a or 24b is possible.
More information about the products can of course be found on the product pages:
- Theme: Around the platform> Central train display (NS style)
- Theme: Around the platform> Central Train Indicator with clock (NS style)
- Theme: Around the platform> CTA on T stand (NS style)
