Background information:
While the traditional way of building means that all parts are separately transported to the construction site and assembled on site, in the last decades we see more and more that whole parts are assembled in the factory and transported to the construction site. That makes the construction time on the construction site (in all weather) a lot shorter. It is also sometimes claimed that the quality of the components is therefore better. For example, bricklaying with cementitious mortar can only be done between 5 and 25 degrees Celsius. Something that works fine in the factory, but not always outside.
Architectural details:
The Markenburg prefab walls come on a steel frame and can be perfectly combined with the Markenburg prefab houses. The steel frame makes transport on a regular lowloader easier. There is also a mirrored version of the walls, so that the ground floor of both houses can be provided with walls. Glass does not yet exist in the Markenburg prefab walls. In reality we see many different types of prefab walls. Sometimes already with glass in it, but often also without glass, for example to prevent damage to it.
