Background information:
Folding trestles are used in combination with scaffolding planks to make scaffolding up to a height of approximately 1.50 meters. The worker can then work up to a height of 3 meters, which is exactly sufficient for one complete floor. The folding trestles are therefore often seen on the smaller construction sites. For example for bricklaying facades from one floor height, think of garage boxes, extensions and sheds. Folding trestles are also used for other construction activities such as painting and various maintenance work.
Architectural details:
Folding trestles come in various sizes and materials. The standard blue metal trestles with a max. height of 1.50 m are taken as an example. The handy design ensures that the trestles themselves only weigh 10 kg, while they can bear more than 10 times their own weight. Enough strength to be able to carry a full specie tub, a large pile of bricks and a bricklayer.
