Background information:
These flats were built in the '90s of the last century. Typical areas in which these properties occur, are characterized by typical Dutch '90s neighborhoods where streets, parking spaces and sidewalks are merged in one slab of pavement. The target group for the houses in this type of building are starters and singles who are looking for a modest home at an affordable price. These flats can be found as free standing blocks, but also connected to the end of a row of houses.
Architectural details:
The apartment block contains 5 residential units. When completed they had a single heater hanging on the wall and powered by gas. In the kitchen they had a separate heating unit to provide warm water. In a later renovation both items are replaced by a combi boiler. Shower and toilet are placed in one room. There is one bedroom and a small kitchenette.
There are no private balconies. The apartment on the ground floor, which is bigger in size than the 4 upper apartments, often does have a small backyard.
