Background information:
Hard foam replenishment sets offer a lot of possibilities. Hard foam is an easy to model material, which is therefore ideal for creating landscapes. With a replenishment set, it is easy to build dikes, hills and other landscape bulges on top of ground level. Editing the hard foam is easy with, for example, a knife, file, grater or saw.
The complete ground level can also be raised with the hard foam replenishment sets. Raising ground level can be useful when deeper valleys, tunnels, or channels are desired. Increasing the surface level also makes it possible to make the layout slightly larger than the standard module dimensions.
Example:
A room is 2.13 meters wide. Then there can be two modules of 1 meter. But by raising the surface with a layer of rigid foam, this new layer can protrude over the edge of the modules. In this example, the rigid foam can overlap with 6.5 cm per side to create a perfectly fitting layout.
