Background information:
Escalators are used to enter the passerelle from the platform or street level. This also means that there are two lengths. One to bridge the height between the platform and the passerelle and a longer / higher one to bridge the distance between the street level and the passerelle. The escalators are based on the general 1: 1 example used from around 1980 to the present. Characteristic are the transparent walls between the steps and the black handle.
Architectural details:
The mostly steel escalators are actually assembled into a whole and then placed on site. In reality, escalators are often used where the number of travelers is high and the escalator improves the flow compared to a regular staircase. This also justifies the higher cost of an escalator.
