Background information:
Tree wreaths, also called tree mirrors or tree grates, are especially common in the village or town centers. Often tree wreaths offer a neat solution for the space around the tree trunk. Most of the time it concerns trees that are in a so-called stony space, such as a sidewalk or square. Tree wreaths are used for many decades, especially in the larger settlements.
In the last decades tree wreaths are also increasingly used in redevelopment plans in which the size of residence does not have quite so much influence.
Architectural details:
Tree Wreaths are usually carried out in various shades of gray concrete or steel, including Corten steel. Corten steel has a recognizable (rust) brown color. Dimensions of tree wreaths vary, although often the dimensions correspond to the standard tile sizes. We do so with Markenburg tree wreaths.
