Background information:
Tree wreaths, also called tree mirrors or tree grates, are especially common in the village or town centers. Tree wreaths often offer a neat solution to the space around the tree trunk. This almost always involves trees that are in a so-called stony space, such as a sidewalk or square.
Tree Wreaths have been used for many decades, especially in the larger settlements. In the last decades tree wreaths are also increasingly used in redevelopment plans in which the size of residence does not have quite that much influence anymore.
Architectural details:
Tree Wreaths are usually carried out in various shades of gray concrete or steel, including Corten steel. Corten steel has a recognizable (rust) brown color.
Dimensions of tree wreaths vary, although often the dimensions correspond to the standard tile sizes. We do so with Markenburg tree wreaths.
