Background information:
Shelters come in many sizes and types. The shelters at railway platforms are mainly black, but dark red and dark blue are also common colors at bus and tram stops. Shelters at railway platforms often have red handrails, while bus and tram stops usually don't.
This Markenburg shelter is adjustable so that it can be used in many situations.
Architectural details:
This shelter comes with standard panel sizes, three panels wide and with a billboard in the left hand facade. Any kind of billboard posters can be used. Dimensions of a billboard poster in 1:160 are 8 x 11 mm. At 1:87 they are 14.5 x 20 mm.
The smooth concrete floor and optional handrails are also included with the Markenburg model. This model is also fitted with a bench and a board where you can place a map or route information.
Note: Precision and experience are necessary for the assembly of this model. This is in particular applicable for the scale 1:160.
