Background information:
Standard picnic tables are based on the model that occurred in the Netherlands and Belgium since the '60s of the last century. In the Netherlands, the picnic table had its heyday in the '70s and '80s. It is placed in virtually any form of public space such as playgrounds, parks, shopping areas and even near highways.
From around 2000, a picnic table with a more modern look is chosen more often. However, this wooden picnic table is still available and it is known as indestructible.
Architectural details:
The picnic table excels in the austere and efficient design and appearance. The two A shaped frames are not only the legs, but also keep the table and seats together. As a result, the seat can not move relative to the table top.
Nowadays there is also a modern version where the components consist of recycled synthetic material.
